Tirana Airport is an international airport located in the municipality of Krujë, about 10 km northwest of Tirana.
It is in this airport that much of Albania’s air traffic is concentrated, being the only international airport in the country.
About 2 million passengers passed through in 2016.

The recently refurbished terminal offers all essential services. You will find shopping areas, refreshment points, duty-free, punching room. An area for smokers is located exclusively inside the Segafredo Bar. The Wi-Fi line is available free of charge throughout the building.

By taxi, bus, or by renting a car, you can easily move from the airport, and reach Albanian destinations

TAXI AND CAR

Directly at the airport, you can rent your favorite car in one of the numerous agencies present. As always, we recommend booking in advance online to get the best rates.

Outside the Terminal, on the arrivals side, you will find the taxi rank.
Atex specializes in transfers from/to Tirana Airport and the main Albanian destinations.
Taxis are easily identified by the yellow color, the sign and the license number.
A trip from the airport to the capital generally costs around 3000lek (about € 24). The journey takes around 25 minutes (traffic permitting!).

BUS

Every day, there are connections with the capital, Durres and Fier.
The bus station is located outside the arrivals area, following the signs for parking and taxis.
LU-NA shpk offers daily connections with the capital, in the area of ​​the National Opera Theater. It works, every hour, from Monday to Sunday, from 07:00 and 23:00, towards Tirana; from 08:00 to midnight, in the opposite direction.
The ticket for the single journey costs 400lek (approximately €3.30).
