Generally speaking, Thailand has a tropical climate with sunshine and heat almost all year round. Areas in the north and with high altitudes are an exception. In the south, along the coasts and on the islands, it almost always exceeds 30 ° C.
The weather, however, often varies and it is not uncommon for some exceptions to occur. Also in September, one of the least suitable months to go to Thailand.
In the country there are mainly 3 seasons. The cold season (so to speak!), Which runs from November to the end of February, is the best time to go to Thailand on vacation. It is considered high season and, as such, prices are the highest of the year, especially at Christmas and New Year’s.
Almost everywhere it is hot but the heat is not as unbearable as in the hot season (from March to June). The humidity is high and temperatures can even well exceed 40 degrees!
The rainy season runs from July to September. It doesn’t rain all the time but when it does, the storms are quite violent. Despite this, the prices in July and August remain quite high.

TOP MONTH
In addition to the really pleasant climate, November is also the month of the Lantern Festival, one of the most fascinating and suggestive events in the country. For this reason it can be considered as the month par excellence for a trip to Thailand. A seaside holiday able to offer idyllic moments such as a walk in the splendid Sukhothai Park.
December, despite being particularly expensive, is ideal for a beach holiday, when it is cold in Europe and there is snow!
WORST MONTH TO GO TO THAILAND
September is considered the worst month for a holiday in Thailand. It must be said, however, that it is also the period in which you can find bargains and lower prices: if the weather were mild, limiting the rains, you could take a holiday at bargain prices!
August is also not the best for a holiday: we are in the middle of the rainy season but the prices are far from cheap.
