The festival will also have its own relaxation area, a varied program for children and services for mothers. There will be workshops and exhibitions. Visitors will also be able to test their athletic and sporting skills with some sports from different continents. And, as the United Islands of Prague emphasizes the social aspect and humanitarian values, you will find stands focused on human rights. PRACTICAL INFO The 2026 edition of the Festival will take place over four days, during the first weekend of May. Prologue of the Festival, as in previous editions, will be the night of clubbing. Appointment on the day, where you can dance and go wild among some of the most interesting places on the Prague scene. The Futurum Club, Rock Café, Jazz Dock, 007 Strahov, Palac Akropolis, Potrvá, and many other clubs, will welcome you to keep you entertained until late at night. HOW TO GET The island of Kampa, and the other locations, are perfectly accessible by the main public transport in the capital. Being located near the center, it will be possible to arrive easily on foot. By tram, with lines 3, 4, 9, 10, 12, 16, 17, 20, 22, 32 or 97, you get off at the Újedz stop to easily reach Kampa and Střelecký Ostrov. The city is easily accessible by plane, thanks to the presence of the Francisco de Sá Carneiro international airport. The airport is located about 45 kilometers away from the center. From the city, with metro line A, getting off at Parque Real, just follow the signs to reach the destination. Coming from line B or C, you have to change at Senhora da Hora. It is one of the most important festivals in the city, second in reputation only to the Cannstatter-Volksfest. Compared to the latter, however, it is a less touristy Festival with a greater national imprint. Precisely for this reason, compared to the autumn beer festivals, it is a more authentic review. It is no coincidence, in fact, that the stands are just five, compared to the ten planned for the Volksfest. Nothing serious, though. At the Stuttgart Spring Festival, you will be able to sip liters of beer, outside the tents, at the many banquets present. It is one of the most loved holidays by the Germans. A sort of spring Oktoberfest, more genuine and less touristy. A festival in which to savor the excellent beers on offer, taste the culinary delicacies and have fun with all your children. In addition to the food stands, in fact, you will find rides, attractions, games, dances, songs and events dedicated to children. Do not miss the ride on the splendid Ferris wheel (Riesenrad Bellevue), from which you can enjoy an absolutely unique and suggestive view of the city. Turbo Force, or roller coasters, on the other hand, are dedicated to those who are looking for pure adrenaline. Do not miss, then, to take a tour of the many markets in the area; you can take home a Wasenhasi soft toy, the hare, mascot of the Stuttgart Spring Festival. At the Krämermarkt, on the other hand, you will find a varied offer at affordable prices; from spices, to jewelry and leather goods. Stuttgart International Airport is located just 25 kilometers from the center, and is well connected to major European destinations. Furthermore, it is well served by public transport. There is a direct train service from the airport to Frühlingsfest. Taking both S2 or S3 trains from the “Flughafen / Messe” station, you have to get off at Bad Cannstatt. Reaching the Festival location is really simple. The options are endless. Within walking distance, there are several bus and train stops. Info and links from this link. With the S1, S2 and S3 lines of the S-Bahn, or the regional lines R1, R2, R3, R8, get off at the Bad Cannstatt stop, and in about 10 minutes’ walk you will arrive at your destination. With the U1 and U2 lines of the U-Bahn, you get off at Haltestelle Bad Cannstatt Wilhelmsplatz. By bus, however, lines 46 and 56 stop near the Festival. The night service is guaranteed by the N4, N5 and N6 road lines. THE STANDS The Grandls Hofbräu-Zelt is, by far, the most popular stand. For offer, fun and variety, it represents the real must of the Stuttgart Spring festival. This is the official stand of the Stuttgarter Hofbräu, the most famous beer in the city. You can taste it in the version created especially for the show, the Frühlingsfestbier. You can accompany it to the Swabian specialties served on the stand. And above all, dance and have fun to the sound of the Royal Württemberg Hofbräu Regiment. In the late evening, the DJs will take care of making you go wild on the track. The Göckelesmaier is the official stand of Dinkelacker Frühlingbier and Sanwald Hafeweizen. It hosts over 2500 people and a Biergarten with 600 seats. Really unbelievable. Excellent gastronomic proposals, it is the ideal stand during the Family Day, thanks to the presence of the nest and a play corner for the little ones. Wasenwirt is the place of pure fun, chosen above all to unleash yourself to the rhythm of the DJs. As evening falls, in fact, the entire tent turns into a mega disco. Almhüttendorf is a beautiful stand with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where you can savor Tyrolean delicacies, such as a succulent steak, the typical bratwurst with Merano herbs, or a delicious “Germknödel”. And of course, there are selected wines, a selection of fine schnapps or a delicious Pils or Hefeweizen beer. Königsalm is the big news of this 86th edition of the festival. With its countless wooden ornaments and a carriage, it is located between the “Krämermarkt” and the “Almhüttendorf”. Access to the tents is free. Of course, you pay for what you consume. Characters, parade, what to do and see Tarragona Diables 2026 WHERE: Tarragona, SpainWHEN: 07 – 11 February, 21st June, 23rd September 2026 Tarragona Diables, also known as the Dance of the Devils, is one of the most interesting and spectacular folkloristic representations in all of Spain. And, in this sense, it represents one of the greatest expressions of the local tradition. An ancient festival, whose origins date back as far as the fifteenth century, revisited in the 1984 through an annual cycle of three specific dates. Each, linked to particular historical phases, from the Carnival to Santa Tecla.The carnival is inspired by the satirical element, through dances and popular representations. A large procession with floats, trumpets and drums, which paves the way for the Diables of Tarragona, dance and popular performances. The second phase of the cycle is represented by the celebrations of San Juan, on the occasion of the summer solstice, this year the 21st June 2026 at 10:24. The actual celebrations of the Noche de San Juan, however, take place at the turn of the 23 and the 24 June. The cycle of Tarragona Diables, the celebrations of Santa Tecla, in September, close. For many, this is the most authentic party, when most tourists have left the coast, and there are almost all residents in the city. Santa Tecla, moreover, is the moment that marks the end of summer. PRACTICAL INFO CHARACTERS The inevitable crown hat and cloak: here Lucifer, the great protagonist of the parade, accompanied by the inevitable consort, always at his side. He is a sort of conductor, who constantly incites i devils. These last ones keep the rhythm of the fire constantly lit; the sparkling clubs always well raised, and in sight.I Diables Timbalers, accompany the parade with the sound of drums. They are 4, dressed identically to devils. During the Santa Tecla fashion show, appears San Miquel, the archangel warrior, played by a boy or a girl. He who subdues the Devils with the raised sword. THE 2026 HOLIDAYS The annual cycle of Tarragona Diables, turns over three phases, from the Carnival to Santa Tecla. Below is the official program. CARNIVAL The Tarragona Carnival has its roots in the satirical and burlesque traditions of the event. A ceremony of particular appeal, with an incredible procession with carts, thunder and drums. And, of course, the inevitable night of the fire of the Ninot, on 17th February.Because fire has always been the key element of the ceremonial. At the Tarragona Carnival 11 days of celebrations and fun await you, from 07th to 17th February 2026. Do not miss the parade on Saturday 14th. SAN JUAN It is the shortest night of the year, with devils and beasts taking the city. The summer solstice is a magical night of invocations to spirits and omens.The festivities begin at the 18:00, with activities for children at Plaça dels Àngels, while, at 19:30 the fire begins to be the protagonist in El Serrallo with the neighborhood bonfire, and Ninot Cream.At the 23:00, from Plaça de les Cols, the Cercavila de Foc begins, with the Diables of Tarragona, the Devils of the Pla de Santa Maria, and the Ferafoc de Sant Quintí de Mediona.From 23:45, in Plaça dels Àngels, we dance and dance with the party organized by the Xiquets of Tarragona. The highlight of the San Juan festivities will be the great parade of the various groups, at the 00.10h on the Rambla Nova. Fires and large bonfires follow.
