It is an annual event that takes place, as usual, in October in the beautiful English city. Festival organizers pride themselves on offering one of the largest beer selections in the world. And the numbers are quite telling. In 2016 alone, over 1200 different qualities of beer were offered: truly impressive! And, as the name of the show indicates, there will be no shortage of cider, with around 200 different qualities. And, just to not miss anything, you will also find a wide selection of soft drinks, local wine and even tea and coffee. The most demanding and those who suffer from particular intolerances, can choose from a wide selection of gluten-free beers and vegan beers. You will find, as usual, numerous RES Beers, that is, beers of Great Reserve and quality. On Saturday evening, about a hundred beers offered exclusively for the occasion. Like any good self-respecting Beer Festival, there will be live musical performances, and a vast gastronomic selection, with local specialties scattered among the various stands. Are you ready, too, to participate in this beautiful event? PRACTICAL INFORMATION The Nottingham Beer and Cider Festival is perfectly accessible by people with reduced mobility. Admission to animals is not allowed. Furthermore, it is reminded that only adults can participate, and an identification document that certifies the age is mandatory. HOW TO GET TO THE FESTIVAL The plane is the most convenient way to reach Nottingham. The international airport East Midlands, about 25 km from the city, it is connected with direct flights to numerous destinations. From the airport, the modern Airlink bus allows you to reach Nottingham city center in a short time, at very reasonable prices. The 2025 edition of the event takes place at Trent Bridge, the historic home of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. The venue is located in West Bridgford (NG2 6AG), in close proximity to both Nottingham Forest and County Notts football clubs, a couple of kilometers from the city center, and 1500 meters from the train station. The area is well served by public transport and the efficient bus service. The lines pass through the railway station and reach Bridgford Road and Radcliffe Road, the two entry points of the Festival. Bus lines 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 11C, 22, 23, 33, 33X, 90 can be used. NOTTINGHAM BEER AND CIDER FESTIVAL 2025 TICKETS AND OPENING HOURS The Festival opens Wednesday 08th October, from 4pm to 10pm. From Thursday to Saturday, admission from noon to 10:30pm. TICKETS can be purchased online on the official website, or directly at the cash desk. The ticket includes a commemorative glass and 9 samples for 3 half pints of beer and cider. Buying your ticket in advance will get you a discount. Tickets cost £15 on Thursdays and £18 on Fridays and Saturdays. For an even more complete experience, a subscription is available which offers access to all 4 dates of the event. It costs 35£ per person. The airport is connected, with direct flight, to several European destinations including London and Barcelona. By taxi or by bus, you can get to the center. The Telekom Arena in Skopje is located near the center, and can be easily reached by public transport. With buses 8 and 15a, you need to get off at the City Park stop. Tickets for a single journey cost around € 0.60. FOR THE EVENING Summer Club HAVANA is just a few minutes walk from the stadium. It is the best place to spend your evening. It is located in Aminta The Third. It is one of the best clubs in the whole city. You can drink, dance and have fun until late in the evening.
