Stefanika Airport Bratislava, also known as Letisko Milana Rastislava Štefánika, is the main airport in the whole of Slovakia. It is located less than 10 kilometers north-east of the capital. It has only one terminal but can accommodate around 5 million passengers a year.
All essential services are available inside the airport, including some shopping and bar areas, duty-free, ATMs, and recharging points for electronic devices. The wifi line is available free of charge throughout the building.
For those traveling as a family and with small children, there are some play areas to entertain the little ones, inside the departure hall (Schengen and no-Schenghen). There are also dedicated bathrooms with changing tables and an area for changing babies.

STEFANIKA AIRPORT BRATISLAVA CONNECTIONS
The city center can be reached conveniently by public transport. Bus no. 61 leaves from the airport terminal and arrives in the center; the terminus is Hlavná stanica, the Central Railway Station. The bus operates every day, from Monday to Sunday, including holidays, from 04.45 to 23.25. Being a simple city bus, YOU DO NOT PAY SURCHARGES. therefore, all you need to do is purchase a 3-zone ticket at a cost of €1.60 to reach the center and outlying districts. By purchasing the ticket via the OFFICIAL APP, you get a 10% discount on the current fare.
After the 23:30 the night line is operating. The N61 bus departs from the airport and arrives at the Central Station. It is active all night, up to 04:30.
Alternatively, during the day, you can reach the center with the bus 96. It always starts from the airport, with Prokofievova terminus. The base to the destination area, you have to choose the type of ticket. The bus observes the timetable of the 61.
Please note that to transport medium/large luggage, it is OBLIGATORY the purchase of a special ticket from 0,45€.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. At the airport, the automatic machines are located in the Arrivals area; in the “departure” terminal room, you can buy tickets at the newsstand.
