Singapore Changi represents one of the most important airports of all, Southeast Asia. Thanks to the excellent services and quality standards, the airport has been awarded in the last 5 years, the title of best airport in the world by Skytrax. An honor of no small importance.

The airport, the hub of Singapore Airlines, is located in Changi, just over 17 km from Marina Bay and from the one hundred, from which it is well connected. It has 4 passenger terminal, fully operational, from which over 60 million passengers (2017) transit. Daily, there is a flight every 80 seconds. Really incredible numbers

IMPORTANT

Forget the small airports and airports: Singapore Changi is a mega complex. It is advisable to move appropriately in advance, especially in high season, so as not to risk losing your flight. If it’s your first time, get organized to arrive with al, eo 3 hours in advance of the flight. You will be able to move and organize in the best possible way, looking for the Terminal and your check-in counter.

At the airport, of course, you will not fail to find all the information in English.

BUS SHUTTLE

The comfortable and modern Shuttle Buses connect the airport with the main hotels and with the Ferry Terminal. In our opinion, this is the best solution, in terms of quality and price, to get to the center.

The City Shuttle make daily connections to/from major hotels in the city center. A really comfortable and fast service. The buses have a frequency from 15 to 30 minutes.

Advance booking is strongly recommended. Otherwise, self-service kiosks are available at all Singapore Changi terminals. You can also pay by credit card. A driver will wait for you at the airport waiting room to take you to the bus
Tickets cost 10$ per adult and 7€ for children under the age of 12.

From June 2017, the shuttle to the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal is activated (TMFT). Ferries to the nearby Indonesian islands of Batam and Bintan leave from the terminal.
The ticket costs 3$ per person. Free for children under the 120cm.

Shuttle parking is located at the 8 lot of the T2, and the 9 lot of the T4. It is mandatory to present yourself with at least 10 minutes in advance of the departure time.

The bus, from T2, starts from Monday to Friday, at 06:55 – 07:35 – 09:10 – 09:40 – 12:30 – 13:55 – 15:05 and 19:25. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, there are also additional rides to the 16:40 and 17:50.

From the TMFT Terminal, departures, from Monday to Friday, to 08:45 – 11:10 – 14:15 – 14:45 – 17:30 – 18:00 – 20:10 and 21:00. Saturday, Sunday and holidays, same time with further rides to 19:30 and 21:00.

TRANSTAR CROSS BORDER

Transfer service between Singapore Changi Airport and Johor Bahru in Malaysia.

From the airport, the bus leaves, from the Arrivals Hall at the 9 Lot and 10 of the T2, and the 8 Lot of the T4. First departure at 08:15 and last run at 23:15. Tickets cost 11$ per adult and 5.50$ reduced.

From Johor Bahru the service is active every day from 05:00 to 23:15. Tickets cost 13RM per adult and 6.50RM reduced.

TRAINS AND BUSES

Public transport allows you to reach the city center. By train, or by bus, you can choose your ideal route.

The train station is within walking distance from the T2 and T3, following the appropriate directions. Trains run daily, from Singapore Changi to Tanah Merah Station, and vice versa, from 05:30 to 23:18.
Before boarding, you must purchase a single-ride ticket from the appropriate machines.

Public road transport is guaranteed by the 24, 27, 36, 53 and 110 lines. Bus parking is available in the T1, T2 and T3 terminals. The cost of the ticket depends on the destination.

TAXI

From the Singapore Changi Airport, outside the Arrivals Hall of each Terminal is the taxi rank.

A ride to the center takes about 30 minutes. The price varies depending on the time and day. You go from a minimum of about $25 to a maximum of about $45 for regular taxis.

Alternatively, you can also opt for dedicated taxis from 4 or 7 seats, at the cost of 60$ and 65$ respectively.

You can book your taxi at the airport, even from the self-service kiosks.
