Located in the small municipality of Mārupe, about 10 km from the capital, Riga Airport is the most important and busiest airport in the Baltics.
Opened in 1973, the airport is the hub of AirBaltic, SmartLynx and Wizz Air, and is managed by the Ministry of Transport of Latvia.
Over the years, it has undergone numerous modernization and expansion operations. Today, it has three Terminals (A, B and C), where you will find all the essential services. There are food and beverage outlets, ATMs, shopping, duty-free areas, car rental agencies, and more. Excellent assistance for people with reduced mobility. Inside the building, electric wheelchairs are available, in limited numbers to be booked on the official website. As soon as they arrive at the airport, the Airport staff will be available to those who requested it.
