Getting around Provins

For the historical center of the city, it is within the medieval walls, one moves on foot.
Buses and bikes are ideal solutions for getting around Provins and in areas further away from the center.


If you intend to spend at least one night in the city, book at a facility that has parking. Preferably, not far from the center.
If, on the other hand, this was the destination of a trip from Paris, you can leave your car at the car park near the station.

Express lines 7, 47 and 50, connect, directly and quickly, only railway stations. They all depart from Gare de Provins for the Gare de Montereau-Fault-Yonne, Gare de Melun and Gare de Marne-la-Vallée Chessy.


For getting around Provins, you can use a simple t+ travel ticket, at a cost of €2.10 per adult (on Navigo card or smartphone). It allows you to make a one-way trip that includes more trips.
The t + is purchased at the vending machines and vending machines.

For a trip from Paris, for example, you will have to buy the 5-zone ticket, at a cost of €5 per adult.
Obviously, the PARIS VISITS coupons from 5 zones, for one or more days, also apply.

Children under 4 years, always travel for FREE.
Reduced rate of 50% for children up to 10 years, disabled.
