Oceanografic Valencia. Info, timetable, tickets. What to do and sees

Oceanografic Valencia

Valencia is an ideal destination to spend a weekend with your partner, family or friends; you can discover many museums, between classic and modern. Hire a bike and enjoy the Skyline from the harbor and the Citadel of Arts and Sciences! There is no Weekend in Valencia that does not include a visit to the majestic complex of the City of Arts and Sciences. A real city in the city. Five structures, divided into three thematic areas: art, science, nature. The complex is located in the southern part of the metropolitan area, extending for the most part on the Turia bed. The original style that is well suited to the context is the merit of architect Calatrava.

Therefore it is impossible to visit them. Of these, we certainly recommend the Valencia Oceanographic Park.

The Oceanographic is the largest aquarium in Europe, capable of hosting 45.000 living beings belonging to 500 different species. The main marine ecosystems of the planet have been reproduced inside it.

The futuristic architecture, the distribution of various aquariums and the scientific, educational and educational vocation of this place are able to bring people closer to the marine world and to raise awareness on the protection of its flora and fauna, also serving as a basis for scientific research.

The Oceanografic Valencia is composed of several buildings, where the most important ecosystems of each of the seas and oceans of the planet have been recreated.

Travel through the Mediterranean, the wetlands of the world, the temperate and tropical seas, the Antarctic, the Arctic, the oceans of the world, and even the Red Sea. Only the Dolphinarium contains more than 24 million liters of water, reaching a depth of 10,5 meters.
