Opened in the distant 1888, it is the place of gastronomic excellence, a true historical and cultural heritage of the city.

Ostermalm Saluhall could be considered a sort of food boutique. The place, in fact, does not reflect the canons of the traditional markets to which we could be accustomed. Relaxing atmosphere, incredible cleanliness and, above all, a place of peace and (almost) silence.
No one will scream at you to invite you to sit, or buy something.

Currently, the Ostermalm Saluhall Market is housed in a temporary structure, in the square in front of the original building; the latter, in fact, is being renovated, whose completion should bring it back to its original appearance, with the star plan. The interventions also concern the whole adjacent area. The completion of the works is scheduled for the 2020.

HOW TO GET TO OSTERMALM SALUHALL

The market is located between Humlegårdsgatan and Nybrogatan, within easy reach of the Armémuseum and the large Humlegarden Public Garden.
It is easily accessible by public transport.

Östermalmstorg is the 54 bus stop, located near the building. Alternatively, with the 1, 66 or 91 buses, go down to Nybrogatan; in a few minutes walk.
At about 600 meters, and just over 5 minutes walk, there are the Nybrokajen Ferry Terminals (67, 80 and 80x lines) and Strandvägen (90 line) and the 7 Tram stop (Nybroplan).
