Lloret de Mar Beaches. Top places, best coves and bays to see

Lloret de Mar Beaches

Nightlife, and fun, are the main ingredients of a holiday in Lloret de Mar. The summer period, and in particular the second half of July and August, is prey to hordes of young people from Spain and the rest of Europe.

During the day, strictly after 12, you can relax (!!) on the beach. Often, after having sobered up. In the evening and at night, you go to clubs.
In the city, you will find several beaches, many of which are really crowded. Above all, the coves and small creeks give me the most fascinating and evocative landscapes.

BEST LLORET DE MAR BEACHES

PLAYA DE SANTA CRISTINA

Among the best beaches of Lloret de Mar. In our opinion, Playa Santa Cristina really represents the top. It rises between the Botanical Garden and the renowned Cala sa Boadella.
Blue Flag, it is excellently equipped with many beach services. Made up of fairly large sand and crystal clear sea. In the background, stands the church of the same name, which we recommend to visit: a really suggestive view.
Particularly crowded, it is advisable to arrive early in the morning.
Accessible by car, with the possibility to park nearby, at a cost of €7 for the whole day.
You can also arrive by bus L011, getting off at Jardins de Santa Clotilde, and continuing on foot for about 20 minutes.

SA BOADELLA

One of the Top places during your holiday in Lloret de Mar. It is a small cove, located right in the middle of Santa Cristina and Fenals. A really beautiful beach, with crystal clear water. Keep in mind that Boadella is the favorite place for nudists, concentrated mainly on the right side. Not of raffò, however, it will happen to you to cross in all the beach, people that walk without costume. A typical Chiringuitos is present in the area.

As for Santa Cristina, you can access by bus with the L011 line, continuing for about 10 minutes on foot. The car, on the other hand, is the best solution. After the Gardens, you will have to proceed along Cami Boadella, and arrive at your destination.

SA CALETA AND CALA DELS FRARES

Really a beautiful bay, with small stones, crystal clear waters and clear seabed, suitable for snorkeling.
The castle overlooks the cove, from which you can enjoy a truly fantastic view of the bay. Unique atmosphere, with suggestive sunsets.
Comfortable shoes are recommended for stairways up to Castell d’en Plaja.
The beach, of course, is ideal in June and September.

Along the path, you reach the nearby Cala dels Frares, or the Bay of Monks. A small, beautiful, pebble beach, really relaxing with an incredible and fascinating panorama. Remember to bring a couple of bottles of water with you!

PLATJA DE FENALS

It is one of the best known and most visited beaches in Lloret de Mar. Expect, therefore, a lot of people. Especially in the middle of August.
Long expanse of small pebbles, and particularly crystalline waters.
Platja de FENALS is particularly wide and equipped; you will find umbrellas, sun beds, showers, bathrooms. Possibility to make trips and excursions, and water sports
Also suitable for families, with a Mini Club for children.
The beach is easily accessible. On foot, from the center, it takes less than 20 minutes. With bus L011, you have to go down to the homonymous stop, not far from the beach.

CALA BANYS

For a fantastic … aperitif at sunset. A cocktail bar that stands on a small rocky inlet. Also ideal for just a simple walk.
It can be reached by crossing the homonymous Camí Cala Banys. Before arriving, you can leave your car. From here, more info.

LLORET DE MAR BEACHES: CALA AGULLA

A small rocky inlet, isolated and particularly suggestive. It is accessed by a long walk, through the botanical garden or, more easily, by boat.
Really clear and crystalline waters and few people present.
A really fascinating cove, far from the chaos and the crush.
The use of shoes is recommended. Eye to the water temperature, rather low. To be avoided if you have children.
Cala Agulla, in our opinion, is one of the most picturesque Lloret De Mar beaches.

PLATJA DE LLORET DE MAR

Super crowded beach, even in low season. Located in the center and, as such, is one of the beaches of LLoret de Mar, preferred by young people.
You can easily reach it on foot. Alternatively, in front of the beach there is the L012 bus stop.
Sandy beach, mostly free.
Certainly, not among the best  Lloret de Mar Beaches! Nevertheless, we are sure of your visit during the holiday.
