FLYBUS AND AIRPORT EXPRESS

The Flybus or Airport Express station, are located outside the Arrivals hall of Keflavik airport, and is easily identifiable. In the terminal there are the official bus displays that indicate the next departures. The information office is present in the arrivals hall.
The journey to the capital lasts about 40 minutes on board modern and comfortable buses, equipped with wifi.
In the capital, the Flybus terminal is located at the BSÍ BUS TERMINAL, in the center. The first departure is at 04:00 and the last one at 21:30.

The standard Flybus fare ticket  (from 16 years upwards) costs 23.67€. Reduced for children from 12 to 15 years, 11.84€. Free for children up to 11 years.
The frequency of trips is about an hour.

STRAETO BUS

The public service called Straeto, allows you to reach Reykjavík, Reykjanesbær town and the surroundings by bus. The bus operates every day, from the airport to Reykjavik, from Monday to Friday from 06:35 to 22:55. Saturday, from 06:55 to 22:55. Sunday and holidays, from 10:55 to 22:55. AUTO AND TAXI

Anyone wishing to rent a car will have a wide choice available between local agencies and international brands. Our advice is to book early, using this Comparative search engine; you can rent your car at the best available price.
Outside the terminal, you will find numerous taxi companies to reach the capital and any destination. If you travel in 4, the cost may not be too excessive compared to the Flybus. Always make sure beforehand of the rate to pay
Taxis always have a fixed cost of around 500kr for arrivals and departures from Keflavik airport. To these, it will be necessary to add the cost per kilometer and any surcharge for heavy luggage.
