Kaunas Airport

Kaunas Airport is an international airport serving the Lithuanian city of the same name, about 100 kilometers from the capital.
It is the fourth busiest airport in the Balkans by passenger traffic, and the second busiest in the country, after Vilnius.

In the Terminal you will find ATMs, duty-free, shopping areas and dining options. The wifi line is available throughout the hotel. You can use it for a maximum of 6 hours, through the Free WiFi Airport access point.

KAUNAS AIRPORT CONNECTIONS

The Lithuanian airport is well connected with Kaunas and the main Lithuanian destinations, including the capital. Public transport links are also available to Riga. Cars, and taxis, are the main alternatives to the bus.

BUS

Bus 29 connects the airport and the center of Kaunas every day, including Sundays and holidays. The bus makes the following route:
Airport – Savanorių ave. – E. Ožeškienės ave. – K. Donelaičio ave.– Vytauto ave. (Kaunas Bus Station) – M.K.Čiurlionio str. (Kaunas Train Station).

Once the last plane has landed, the 29E BUS circulates on the same route, with a reduced number of stops.
The parking is located outside the arrivals area of ​​the Terminal, which is easily accessible.
You can buy tickets in local currency (Litas) or euros. The cost of the single trip is 1.00€.

The Lithuanian company Ollex offers shuttle bus connections to Klaipeda, Kryzkalnis and Vilnius.

CAR AND TAXI

Kaunas Airport is easily accessible by car, via the A6 which connects the A1 motorway and Via Baltica E6.

The taxi rank is located outside the Arrivals hall. Generally, the rate applied is €0.75 per kilometer, to which approximately €2 must be added to the initial rate. However, taxis are not particularly expensive for tourists, considering the cost of living in the country.
