JFK AIRPORT CONNECTIONS

Despite the size and number of terminals, getting around the airport and getting to the city is easier than you might think.
There are numerous options for getting around JFK airport. The best is, without a doubt, Airtrain.
It is a light surface subway, which allows you to move for FREE between the 9 Terminals, to reach (for a fee) 3 New York metro stations, through three lines:

  • Yellow – All Terminals Train.
  • Green – Howard Beach Line.
  • Red – Jamaica Station Line.

Through our special article, you will find all the detailed info about the Airtrain New York.

AUTO AND TAXI

The famous Yellow Cabs are available outside the various terminals. For all connections with Manhattan, you will ALWAYS have a single transparent rate of $ 52. To this, will be added any fees and commissions, for example, for large baggage.
The rate applies for both directions.

Alternatively, directly at JFK airport, you can rent your car in one of the numerous agencies present. Our advice is to book your car in advance to get the best price.
JFK Airport offers around 17,000 parking spaces, distributed between multi-level garages, and the central area around which the Terminals are located. From the Terminal, exit onto Interstate 678.

BUS

The metro is the ideal way to get around the JFK and New York airports. Buses are alternative solutions, but not recommended.
There are numerous lines that allow you to reach the subway and Long Island railway stations.
