Getting around Haapsalu by taxi, bus, on foot. Timetable, tickets

Getting around Haapsalu

Relatively small, and with a rather concentrated center, the Estonian city can only be visited on foot.
The main points of interest are concentrated within a few hundred meters.
The main bus station (Haapsalu Bussijam) is located about a kilometer from Evald Okase Muuseum, and less than 20 minutes walk from Tantsupaviljon.

Modern, efficient and comfortable vehicles. Clear and transparent tariffs. It will not be the cheapest way for getting around Haapsalu but, on the other hand, the taxi is convenient and fast. Above all, the best way to get around in the evening and at night. ETX 1700 Haapsalu Takso offers transport service starting from 3.00€ plus 0.80€ per km traveled. In the case of 3/4 people, the cost will be just 1.00€ per kilometer. At night, on holidays and at weekends, the rate is 1.00€ per kilometer.

In any case, our invitation is to always check the applied rate in advance. Taxi drivers speak Ukrainian and English fluently.

More than to move around Haapsalu, the buses are an excellent way to reach adjacent areas.
However, those wishing to travel around the city with the public service can do it without problems, spending relatively little. In general, for short trips, the ticket price is around 0.90€.
There are stops at numerous points of interest, and in peripheral areas.
The frequencies, however, are particularly long, and are limited to a couple of runs a day, from Monday to Sunday.
On the website it is possible to obtain information, timetables and updates on the public transport service.

Haapsalu is part of the Maakonnaliinid, in the county of Laanema.
