Tollwood Sommerfestival

WHERE: Munich, Germany
WHEN: from the 16 June to the 16 July 2023

Tollwood is a festival that combines art, music and culture, from the 1991. Organized by Tollwood GmbH, it takes place twice a year, in Munich, The Tollwood Sommerfestival, as its name suggests, is the summer appointment, hosted at the Olympiapark in Monaco; the Winterfestival, instead, it is housed in Theresienwiese, in the heart of the Bavarian city.

Particularity of the Festival is the Market of Ideas. A magical place where, among colored stands, smells and extraordinary aromas, you will appreciate the local gastronomy. Organic products and products from the fair trade market; vegetarian and vegan foods. On the Market of Ideas of Tollwood Summerfestival, await many stands, with over 50 restaurateurs and young craftsmen. Even in the latter case, the products are all of certified origin.

The Festival has always tried to connect the cultural offer of music, theater, cabaret and art, with an ecological and environmental awareness. It is no coincidence that he received the organic certification of the gastronomic festival, from the winter 2003; while, in the 2006, “Bio for children” was developed, in collaboration with the Department of Health and the Environment of the City of Monaco. In addition, Tollwood GmbH is the protagonist of a real battle against intensive farming.

But of course, music will be the great protagonist of the Tollwood Sommerfestival 2023. A whole month of shows, concerts and live performances, of different musical genres; it ranges from rock to jazz and blues. At the Musik-Arena, on stage, there will be artists from the national and international scene; recall names, and emerging artists.
