Back, as every year, one of the most popular Bavarian summer events. In the splendid setting of the Olympiapark lake, 24 extraordinary days of concerts and shows await you.
This is the Theatron Musik Sommer Festival, an extraordinary open air event from July to August that attracts many visitors. The ideal place to spend time between rock, pop, jazz, alternatives and even classical music. An extraordinary moment of aggregation which, moreover, is totally free.

HOW TO GET
Thanks to the presence of the Franz Josef Strauss International Airport, Munich can be easily reached by direct flight from the main European and non-European destinations. Olympiapark, home of the Theatron, is easily accessible with the comfortable, efficient, Bavarian public transport. We recommend using the U3 and U8 lines of the U-Bahn, getting off at the Olympizentrum stop; alternatively, always with the U3 or U8, you can get off at the Petuelring stop.
THEATRON TICKETS AND PROGRAM
As indicated, entry to the Theatron Musik Sommer Festival is completely FREE. It starts, on July 26th at 19:00, with Christoph Everke & Friends. In general, two daily performances are scheduled at 19:00 and 20:30.
For three days, from 06th to 08th August, at 22:00 pm, you can attend the Theatron Open Air Kurzfilmfestival 2018, with lots of short films.

WHERE TO SLEEP
Munich has an excellent accommodation offer, suitable for all tastes and all budgets. Thanks to the efficient public transport network, you will not necessarily have to find accommodation near the Theatron.
