Mayrhofen is a small Tyrolean village of around 4000 souls, at over 600 meters above sea level.
An important ski resort, it offers splendid views over the entire valley and the Penken and Ahorn slopes

Right here, on the heights of the Zillertal Valley, Snowbombing takes place every year, an evocative festival of music and snow.
The event is considered one of the most important winter snow festivals in Europe, behind sacred monsters such as Toworrowland.

A week of great music awaits you at the festival with some internationally renowned DJs and great music bands. The presence of Maribou State, De La Soul, Orbital is expected this year.

Lots of music, and above all, entertainment for the entire duration of the festival. Between snow sports, activities and games, you never really get tired.

PRACTICAL INFO

HOW TO GET

The airports of Munich, Innsbruck and Salzburg are the starting point for reaching Mayrhofen.
From the airports direct connections to Mayrhof by bus are guaranteed on 04th and 06th April. On the 11th and 12th, however, shuttles depart in the opposite direction to reach the reference airport.
Tickets cost 45£ from Innsbruck, 60£ from Munich, 65£ from Salzburg.

Those who prefer to arrive by train will have to get off at Jenbach station, located about 25 minutes from Innsbruck and 90′ from Munich. From Jenbach, with the Zillertal railway line, you can reach Mayrhofen in about 45 minutes.

The festival takes place from 06th to 11th April 2026. Maribou State will headline the event. Here are the main artists who will animate the festival with their music:

In addition to dancing from morning to night, you can carve out some time for other leisure and entertainment activities. Ride&Seek offers you the opportunity to admire courageous “snowbombers” who challenge each other with their snowboards on almost frozen pools!
You can ski. Take a sled and face arduous descents among the snow-capped mountains. Have brunch on top of the mountain. Admire performances and comedies… a truly rich program for all guests of the event.

Furthermore, throughout the festival, Mayrhofen’s most important clubs, such as The Fun Haus and The Racket Club, will make you dance and let loose starting at 5pm.

TICKETS 2026

The Festival Wristband offers exclusive access to the Snowbombing events for the entire duration of the festival. It costs £199 per person. Full tickets (Wristband + Ski Lift) are preferred, as they also include use of the Mayrhofen ski lift. They are available for 4 days (£359), 5 days (£399), 6 days (£429), and 7 days (£459).
