Excellent wine, food and a suggestive and relaxing atmosphere. This, and much more, await you at the Mainzer Weinmarkt, an event that, for two weekends, will cheer visitors to Mainz

Eight days, from afternoon to evening, visitors can have fun in the beautiful setting of Mainzer Stadtpark and Rosengarten. This is the beautiful city public park, dressed up for the occasion, with lots of stands and stalls.

The Weinmarkt Mainzer is not just an extraordinary eno-gastronomic event. It is an opportunity to get closer to tradition and art. At the Artist’s Market, for example, you will find beautiful woodwork, watercolors, goldsmithry, glass processing and silk painting. A really wide offer, with over 80 artists from all over Germany and from neighboring countries.
Obviously, wine will be the true protagonist. At the event will take part over 40 wineries and producers. There will be tours and walks with tastings.

Naturally, lots of live music accompanying the event. Every day, a different performance is scheduled.

And, in order not to miss anything, for the little ones, two weekends with shows, readings and inflatable games. Saturdays from 15 to 20, and Sunday from 13 to 19, always with FREE entry. All in a truly relaxing atmosphere. Moreover, it belongs to Mainz.

HOW TO GET

Thanks to its proximity to the two international airports of Frankfurt, Mainz can easily be reached by plane. Just 31 km, separate Mainz from the nearby Frankfurt airport. A convenient IC train, allows you to reach the Central Railway Station in just 20 minutes.

Alternatively, you can opt for the airport of Frankfurt-Hahn, distances just over 80 km from Mainz.

The public park, home to the Mainzer Weinmarkt, is easily accessible by public transport. By bus, with the RB, RE trains and the S8 S-Bahn line, get off at the Römisches Theater stop; in about 10 minutes of walking you arrive at the Stadtpark.
