Saint Germain des Pres Jazz Festival 2025

Created in the 2001 and arrived today at the XXIV edition, the Saint Germain des Pres Jazz Festival has become much more than just a musical appointment. Music, extraordinary performances and jazz artists who will perform in truly evocative locations. The Saint-Sulpice church. The Odeon Theater. The Grand Amphithéatre de la Maison des Océans. and, again, Monnaie de Paris Cour d’Honneur, Marie du 6E, the Theater de l’Alliance Francaise.

These are just some of the places, theater of concerts, events, meetings, exhibitions and performances by young artists. Because, as mentioned, the Saint Germain des Pres Jazz Festival is much more than just a musical review. A real multicultural and artistic meeting, of which jazz is the backbone.

The event is, today, of absolute international appeal. Like, after all, the international artists on the bill. It is no coincidence that, just on the occasion of the Festival, Norah Jones held her first concert in France. Over the years, Manu Dibango, Michel Portal, Lucky Peterson, Kenny Barron, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and many others have also taken part.

Visiting Paris in this period, and the splendid district of Saint Germain des Pres, can reserve pleasant surprises. The exhibition takes place almost entirely along the 6éme and 5éme Arrondissement over the course of twelve days.

HOW TO GET

Paris is easily accessible by plane, train, car or bus. You can easily reach the center and the festival location by public transport. Both arrondissements are served by the underground line and by buses, until late in the evening.

The THÉÂTRE DE L’ODÉON and the MAISON DE L’OCÉAN are the places that host the main events of the show. The first is located at Place de l’Odeon and the second at 195 rue Saint Jacques. They are perfectly accessible by reliable Parisian public transport. More info from here.

The tickets to attend individual concerts cost on average from €39 to €44 in the standard version, and €84 in the Carré Or version. 20% discount by purchasing the TRIO package to attend from 3 to 6 concerts (except 13 May).

The program of the Saint Germain des Pres Jazz Festival is divided into several categories. Daily review, evening concerts, new talent contest, women’s jazz, Jazz n’chat. And, again, amateurs, after jazz club, photography and much more. An incredibly rich and varied program. Here are the concerts on the bill:
