Rock Im Park 2026

WHERE: Nuremberg, Germany
WHEN: from 05th to 07th June 2026

Back in 1985, a major musical event was organized to celebrate the new version of the Nürburgring race track. The success was such that, in the following years, the Festival was revived annually, giving life to the legendary Rock Am Ring.

A few years later, given the success in terms of public, the organizers decided to do more. And they created a second event, almost entirely similar. Same formula. Same dates, and artists. With the only difference in the location.

To host the first edition of Rock Im Park, in 1993, was Vienna. Not surprisingly, at the time, the event took the name of Rock Im Wien. In the following years, however, it was the turn of Munich, before the definitive move to Nuremberg.

Rock Im Park, was born from a rib of the Rock Am Ring, of which it is almost completely the same. Performing will be the same artists of the twin Festival, on the same dates, alternating, obviously, the days. As per tradition, big names will perform at the Festival. In addition, in the central area of the Festival, the best, and most varied, selection of Street Food will be waiting for you, with 10 food trucks suitable for everyone …. the rockers.

PRACTICAL INFO

HOW TO GET

Rock Im Park is housed in the Zeppelinfeld, in Nuremberg, not far from the center. The area is easily accessible, which is why the Festival is particularly popular with the very young.

You can easily get there by train, bus and metro S-Bahn. The Nürnberg Frankenstadion Sonderbahnsteig railway station is located in the immediate vicinity. From here, the RE and RB trains pass. Along the nearby Zeppelinstrasse, you will also find bus stops for buses 55 and 96.

With the S-Bahn lines S2 and S3, get off at the Nürnberg-Dutzendteich stop, and then continue for about 15 minutes on foot.

The city of Nuremberg is well connected with the main European and non-European destinations. You can reach the beautiful German city by plane, train, car.

As per tradition, the bands on the bill are of the utmost importance. Also for the 2026 edition. Iron Maiden, Linking Park, Volbeat and Limp Bizkit will be among the most anticipated protagonists of the festival. Here is the official lineup of the 3 nights of the festival:
