Despite being a relatively young festival, Primavera Sound Barcelona has rightfully carved out a leading role in the Olympus of international festivals. The merit can be attributed to the character and physiognomy of the Festival itself; a markedly urban event, in which integration is the common denominator.
Integration as a maximum meeting point between artists and spectators; between people even of different generations. And here, then, that art meets music. And, music becomes union and sharing. Primavera Sound Barcelona is this… and much more.
The event was born in 2001, with the aim of celebrating the end of spring in the best possible way. Until 2005, the Festival took place in the Poble Espanyol location. The response to the terms of turnout, during the first editions, was such as to force the organizers to choose a different venue. Since that time, the Festival has taken place at the Parque del Fórum in Barcelona. A place worthy of an international event, facing the sea.
Primavera Sound is now a truly international brand, with two editions in Europe (Barcelona and Porto) and two editions in Latin America in Buenos Aires and São Paulo.

PRACTICAL INFO
HOW TO GET TO PARQUE DEL FÓRUM
A comfortable shuttle bus leaves from Plaza Catalunya and reaches the Parque del Fórum. Alternatively, you can use the bus lines H16, H14, 7 and 36 from 06:30 to 23:15; or, the night buses N6 and N7, after 11pm.

PRIMAVERA SOUND BARCELONA TICKETS 2026
As per tradition, tickets and season tickets will be put on sale in four different phases, at increasing prices. By purchasing in advance, you can guarantee yourself the best price.
The ticket valid for a single day of your choice from Thursday 04th to Saturday 06th June, costs €135 in the standard version and €195 VIP. Tickets for Sunday 07th “Primavera Bits x NITSA” costs 35€ in the standard version and €135 and €150 in the VIP version.
The full Festival pass costs €350 per person. It offers full access to the festival from Wednesday 03rd to Saturday 07th June 2026. The VIP pass costs €545 and offers access to exclusive VIP areas, priority entrance and other privileges. All prices do not include any taxes and fees.
