Nickelsdorf is a small Austrian village, on the border with Hungary and Slovakia.
Few attractions, and less than 2000 inhabitants. It is certainly not the place you would consider for a vacation.
From the 2005, however, this statement may not be true.
Every year, in June, one of the most important European festivals takes place here: Nova Rock.
A landmark of the metal genre, hard rock and alternative rock, the festival has become, in a short time, one of the most appreciated events by fans. And, even by the artists.
It is no coincidence that, during the previous editions, they played Guns N ‘Roses, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Faith No More, Linkin Park, Prato Jam, Splipknot …
Impossible to really list them all.
The 2025 edition promises to be truly of great impact with high-sounding names on the international scene, including Linkin Park, Slipknot, Korn.
In June, Nova Rock awaits you with 4 intense days of music and entertainment. Perfect organization, and an excellent lineup, are the basis of the success of the Festival. Enough to carve out a space of respect next to “sacred monsters” like Wacken and Werchter.

PRACTICAL INFO
GET IN
The international airport of Vienna, is the starting point for reaching Pannonia Fields, the location of Nova Rock Festival.
The airport, well connected with direct flights to the main European destinations, is just over 50 kilometers from the location.
The plane is the best solution coming from medium/long range destinations.
Whether you are coming by plane or by train, you will need to reach the Vienna Meidling train station and from there continue by train to Nickelsdorf. The journey, by train, lasts on average 80′, with prices starting from around 14.40€ per person. Generally, there are rides every hour.
With the shuttle service of Blaguss you can travel from Seekwinkel or Vienna in comfortable buses with direct route. The ticket costs about 20€ per person.

TIMETABLE AND TICKETS 2025
You can choose between the ticket valid for a single day (TAGESKARTE) or the complete pass. Tickets for Friday the 12th (Linkin Park) are already sold out!
The ticket to attend a single date, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, costs 130€. Once purchased, the ticket cannot be changed.
The Festivalpass, on the other hand, allows access to the 4 days of the festival, at a special price. It costs €270 per person in the version with camping and parking included, and €405 in the version with caravan included..
There are also VIP versions and special tickets, suitable for all tastes, and for all budgets, from 210€ per person for a single day.
We remind you that tickets tend to run out quite quickly. Better to buy them well in advance.
In the morning, the gates open at 10:00.
