WHERE: Pilton, England.
WHEN: from 21 to 25 June 2023
One of the most important and popular open-air festivals in the world, as well as one of the most important events in British culture. With these premises, it is difficult to remain indifferent to the Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts.
Five days of music, shows, dance, cabaret, theater, and even circus arts. This, and more, is the Glastonbury Festival. An event that, today, attracts top-notch international artists, and, with a truly incredible following; both in terms of viewers and from a media point of view. Televisions, newspapers and magazines are increasingly attracted to the event.
Today, the Glastonbury Festival keeps alive the traditions that inspire it. An event inspired by hippie philosophy and Free movements. That’s why men and women of all ages move, showing off the most eccentric and extravagant looks; or, with the inevitable naked torso. Ready to fill up with mud. Because, in these parts, showers are really at home. Almost all of them, wearing the inevitable “Wellington”, that is, plastic rain boots. And, of course, the guests on stage are no exception.
Freedom is the watchword.
The Festival also takes place in a place steeped in history and mysticism, mystery and religion. In these places, an ancient abbey stood in the Middle Ages. Where, it is said, that even the tomb of King Arthur was found, buried after a mythical voyage to the sea. And that’s not all. Crop circles and Neolithic megaliths have been found not far from these places.

Bjork, Coldplay, David Bowie, Muse, Pulp, Radiohead, R.E.M., Springsteen, The Cure, U2 … making a list is really very difficult, if not impossible.
