Garosnow Cauterets 2018. All about french snowport festival in February

WHERE: Cauterets, France
WHEN: 16 – 17 February, 09 – 10 March 2018

Second and third stage of what can rightly be considered one of the most important itinerant snowsport festivals in Europe. Three stages, in three different months, from January to March. Cauterets, this year, will host both the second and third stage of the Festival. It is a small but renowned French spa town, crossed by the river gave de Cauterets, surrounded by the Pyrenees mountain range.

A really suggestive place.

It is, as mentioned, a traveling winter festival. First stop, in January, in Les Angles.

Have fun and let yourself go at the rhythm of techno, house, rock and electronic music that will alternate at Garosnow Cauterets. Music, Ride & Cool Attitude … is the motto of the traveling festival!

Among mountain slopes, music bars, chalets and clubs, numerous artists and DJs will take turns, in an absolutely frenetic and lively atmosphere as only Winter Festivals can do.

What makes Garosnow Caterets special and unique, is the perfect mix of activities during the day, and the lively and exciting nightlife. The village, in fact, is known for its excellent slopes, entertainment and leisure facilities.

PRACTICAL INFO

Cauterets is a small French village and well-known ski destination in the heart of the Parc National des Pyrenées, between France, Spain and Andorra. It is located about 200 kilometers from Toulouse, and just 30 from Lourdes. Therefore, the most convenient method to arrive is, undoubtedly, the plane, calling at the Aéroport de Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées.

From the latter, the Hautes-Pyrénnées shuttle, makes direct connections to Cauterets. The ticket can be purchased on board or directly online, on the official website. The ticket costs € 15.00 per person.

Alternatively, using the train, you need to get off at Lourdes and, from here, you arrive at your destination with the SCNF Bus, a company that manages French rail transport. Those who opt for the car should take the A64 towards Lourdes and follow the signs for Argelès-Gazost and then Cauterets.

Le Royalty, the festival location, is a club located right in the center of Avenue de l’Esplanade, right in front of the Casino.
