In the panorama of summer music reviews, Garorock has become a reference point for fans. It will not be the most important festival of the summer, as the French, convinced nationalists, would seem to indicate. In any case, it is a review to be taken into great consideration, with strong growth numbers, which are destined to increase again this year.

Garorock 2023 takes place in Marmande, France, for four days instead of three. Mostly, the town of Aquitaine, on the Garonne, is known for its vineyards and, above all, the excellent variety of tomatoes, famous throughout France!

The success of Garorock is certainly not linked to the Marmande tomato! The basis is the excellent music that is offered, a perfect combination of rock, electronics and Urban music. Big international names have performed during the previous editions of the festival. Public Enemy, Iggy Pop, The Bloody Beetroots, Shaka Ponk, Bloc Party, Method Man and Redman, The Offspring, Cypress Hill are just some of the protagonists of past editions.

Born in 1996, Garorock is a festival aimed at young and very young people. There is no shortage of initiatives and activities also aimed at children, such as Garokids. It is a kind of event within the event, dedicated to children aged 6 to 12.

PRACTICAL INFO

HOW TO GET

Bordeaux-Merignac and Toulouse-Blagnac are the closest international airports to Marmande. They are 95 and 170 km away respectively.
Bordeaux and Toulouse are a good starting point for attending the Festival.

The railway station is Gare de Marmande. Here, short/medium-haul trains run by SNCF. From Bordeaux Station, the Intercity train takes just over 30 minutes to arrive at your destination. Tickets start at around €10 per person
