Christmas in Krakow

The Christmas markets in Krakow are set up along the beautiful Market Square, active from early morning to late evening.

Who wants to try new flavors, can not miss the hot beer. It is prepared with traditional Polish beer, mixed with a hot syrup flavored with blueberry, raspberry or ginger. Not the classic drink we are used to.

Christmas Markets open, every day, from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 20:00. Some stands may be open longer than 20:00. The stalls are located in The Rynek, Market Square, Old Town


Krakow’s Christmas markets are the top of your holiday. In general, in addition to the traditional stalls, you can attend many shows in the square, almost all free.
Concerts and Christmas songs, featuring children and local artists, and above all the unmissable crib contest. It is a competition whose origins date back to the nineteenth and its own works of art, up to 2 meters high, are exhibited in the square. The nativity scenes that have won the competition will be exhibited in the Historical Museum of Krakow!
