In Lewes, a British town not far from London, Bonfire Night is celebrated on 05th day. It is one of the most amazing November festivals you can attend. You will see locals parading in extravagant medieval clothing. Fires, songs and dances until late in the evening. You will admire flaming crosses. And, of course, fireworks and bonfires. Last but not least … the stake of the puppet!

Music will also be the protagonist with two interesting events.
The first takes place in Paris; it is the Pitchfork Music Paris. Anyone on holiday in the Ville Lumiére could visit the “La Villette” area. From 05th to 09th, the beautiful Dutch city of The Hague hosts Crossing Border Festival, one of the most important European events that combines international music and literature. For a whole week, from morning to evening, you can see over 100 artists from all over the world at work. Among the November festivals not to be missed.

Not a simple Festival but a real form of sound experimentation.
This month, for 4 days, Utrecht will be invaded by Le Guess Who?. Over 150 shows on the bill, with music as a great protagonist. It ranges from jazz, folk, ambient, drone, avant-garde, to modern compositions, up to contemporary pop and rock sounds. And many related events: film, visual art, photography.

November is also a month packed with trade fairs. Two major fairs, held in France and Switzerland, dominate the scene. The Basel Autumn Fair attracts over a million visitors each year. Founded in the 15th century, it is considered the largest and oldest entertainment fair in Switzerland and undoubtedly one of the top events of November 2025. The Dijon Fair, a hub for the entire region, showcases gastronomy. See you from November 1st to 11th, 2025.

In the roundup of November events and festivals, the Big Apple could not be missing. This, in fact, is the month in which Thanksgiving Day occurs. If you enjoy unusual festivals, on the second Saturday of November, Switzerland celebrates… turnips! At the Turnip Lantern Festival, more than 25 tons of this vegetable await, expertly sculpted and assembled to resemble a tiger or a flower. Thousands of candles illuminate the arrangements, lending the entire event a magical and surreal feel. Equally popular is the Cannafest, a large trade fair dedicated to hemp. It will take place from November 7th to 9th at the PVA Expo in Prague.
