Charming Sibiu, in Romania, Oslo, and Vienna, are among the first places to host traditional Christmas markets. For the whole month, you will be spoiled for choice. On 18th, Chicago shines with twinkling lights with the Magnificent Mile Light Festival, an extraordinary event that combines art, music and entertainment. Millions of lights shine on around 200 trees, for a truly unique visual spectacle.

Bruges is a truly enchanting city. Try to drop by the last week of November. The meeting becomes magic. At Grote Markt you can take home lots of souvenirs and try traditional sweets. To warm you up, nothing better than a glass of mulled wine.

Among the best festivals of November, the London Jazz Festival cannot go unnoticed. You can get closer to one of the most incredible and evocative genres and, above all, discover a culture of incredible charm and ancient traditions. Appointment from 10 to 19, for 10 days of celebration.

In Lewes, a British town not far from London, Bonfire Night is celebrated on 05th day. It is one of the most amazing November festivals you can attend. You will see locals parading in extravagant medieval clothing. Fires, songs and dances until late in the evening. You will admire flaming crosses. And, of course, fireworks and bonfires. Last but not least … the stake of the puppet!

Music will also be the protagonist with two interesting events.
The first takes place in Paris; it is the Pitchfork Music Paris. Anyone on holiday in the Ville Lumiére could visit the “La Villette” area. From 01 to 04, the beautiful Dutch city of The Hague hosts Crossing Border Festival, one of the most important European events that combines international music and literature. For a whole week, from morning to evening, you can see over 100 artists from all over the world at work. Among the November festivals not to be missed.

This month, for 4 days, Utrecht will be invaded by Le Guess Who?. Over 150 shows on the bill, with music as a great protagonist.
