East Midlands

East Midlands is an international airport located in Leicestershire, not far from the famous Donington Castle. It mainly serves the cities of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham, all less than 35 kilometers away.

The airport is the hub of the low cost airlines and RyanAir, as well as a TUI Airfly base. It is owned by Manchester Airports Group (MAG), one of the UK’s leading groups. East Midlands Airport is one of England’s most important cargo airports, and one of the busiest in the country. In fact, in 2015 it registered approximately 4.5 million passengers.

Inside, numerous shopping areas, bars, restaurants and duty-free areas are available to guests with the “click & collect” service active. The wifi line is available free of charge throughout the building. Just connect your device to the ‘_FreeWifi‘ network to connect up to a maximum of 4 hours.
