Vacations in Dubai and holidays. What to do and see in 3 or 5 days. Guide

Vacations in Dubai

Dubai is part of the seven United Arab Emirates: it is the most pro-Western of the Middle Eastern cities, divided between the luxury of luxury and historical artifacts dating back to 3000 years AC Dubai presents a thousand shades, between the Caribbean sea and the tallest skyscrapers in the world; a place where you can shop in the tax haven without fainting. For this, and more, Dubai is an ideal holiday for all budgets.

Kanoa recommends a stay from 3 to 5 days. It could be the ideal time to discover its incredible beauties.

The best time? Without a doubt, the one between December and February. The climate is really ideal, at this time of the year.

Holidays in Dubai

Burj Khalifa could be the ideal solution to start your vacations in Dubai. You arrive by underground, getting off at the homonymous stop. Fantastic view and a skyline … shivering, for what is the tallest skyscraper in the world, with its 829 meters! 148 floors, 2 observation terraces, and a perspective that will keep you open-mouthed. Art and Engineering blend together. Incredibly fast elevators will take you to your destination in no time. In the building, moreover, about 1000 works of art are hosted, of characters coming from any part of the world.

At the 122nd floor of Burj Khalifa you will find At.mosphere, an elegant restaurant, located in the highest tower in the world, where Star Chef will prepare dishes of the highest level.

To take the best photo and admire the Burj Khalifa, position yourself from the Waterfall Entrance, to the basement of the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping center in the world; here, it will be possible to admire the extraordinary building and, at the same time, the romantic show of the Dubai Fountains. More info from here.

The Dubai Mall has colossal dimensions: it houses over a thousand shops, 200 refreshment points and the largest gold market in the world. Among its many attractions, there is an aquarium, an Olympic ice rink, an indoor theme park and a cinema with 22 rooms. All this, enclosed in a space of about 40 thousand square meters, distributed over four floors. Here, you will have plenty of time to spend during your first day of vacation in Dubai. Aquarius e submarine zoo they are open every day, from 10:00 to 24:00.

The Jumeirah Archaeological Site, was built in the 6 century after Christ. It is the largest and probably the most important archaeological site in the United Arab Emirates. You will see the ruins of stone walls, a souq, houses and what is thought to have been the governor’s palace. Objects found on the site, such as ceramics and coins, are kept at the Dubai Museum and at the Heritage Village.

Located between Jumeirah e Al-Wasl Rds, the site can be reached by taxi in about 15 minutes, or with the Metro red line in 40 / 50 minutes.

Holidays in Dubai can only be synonymous with relaxation, sun and sea.

Marina Beach, it’s a public beach where you only pay for entry: a couple of euros, about per person. Pretty low prices even if you decide to rent beach chairs and umbrellas. In the weekend, it is very popular, with the opportunity to practice numerous and spectacular water sports. There are also male and female changing rooms with bathrooms and toilets, and, in the area, you will be spoiled for choice to eat.

Burj Al Arab Skyview Bar

Our advice is to relax during the morning, taking advantage of the sun and the sea: in this way, you can concentrate visits, and walks in the Mall, in the afternoon or in the evening. You could start from Burj al-Arab (literally, tower of the Arabs): if you are here, it is impossible not to dedicate time to this “sailing in the desert, in the middle of the sea”!!

Gorgeous, opulent, kitsch, but, nevertheless, absolutely unmissable during the holidays in Dubai. You can not remain indifferent to this construction that forces you to admire everything with your mouth open, upturned! More info from here.

For your evening we recommend a walk to the Dubai Marina Yacht Club. A charming awaits you walk: your partner will remain absolutely enthusiastic. The yacht club’s terrace is fantastic, and you can enjoy typical dishes in the restaurants attached to the complex or along the promenade; in our opinion Kanoa will bring the image of the Dubai skyline forever with you as it can be magnificent and pompous, all this.

The Palm Islands are three artificial islands, overlooking the Persian Gulf. Among these, there is Palm Beach Atlantis, in our opinion the most beautiful beach in Dubai, common to all the facilities of luxury hotels overlooking the sea. On the left, the skyline of the skyscrapers, and, on the right, the great sail of the Burj El arab.
You can reach it either by the monorail, 5,4 km from the mainland, or by taxi. Absolutely unmissable, if you were with your family, visit Atlantis Aquaventure, one of the largest water parks in the Middle East, located at the Atlantis Hotel.

Spread over an area of 42 hectares, the Aquaventure park offers a series of rides, roller coasters, water slides, wave pools, etc. Guaranteed fun all the time. You can take the plunge into the Leap of Faith, let yourself be transported through mysterious tunnels to the shark lagoon. Have fun on the Zoomerang, experience the wrath of Poseidon’s Revenge and face the Aquaconda, the biggest water slide in the world! Vacations in Dubai

The Safari is, without a doubt, another experience not to be missed during the holidays in Dubai. There are numerous tour operators and agencies that organize interesting explorations and tours. You could also ask in the hotel. Among these, you could opt for a fantastic one dune bashing in Lahbab, the most remote desert area of Dubai, about 50 kilometers from the city. You can enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet dinner in a Bedouin camp; enjoy three dance shows and ride a camel. A photograph at sunset from the tops of the Dunes.

Surely you will be very tired and the excursion in the desert will have taken away the whole half day: it is time to spend your evening along the Dubai Marina because, from here, you can enjoy a light breeze and, above all, there is only embarrassment in the choice of places to dine and have fun.

Are you tired of the sun and the beach? We have an absolutely unconventional and alternative way to your last day: the Dubai Ski Club! You read that right, everything is possible here, and even when temperatures exceed 30 degrees, you will be able to put on a pair of skis, just like you were in the Alps.

The Ski Dubai is a ski-dome, that is, an indoor ski resort. It is located inside the shopping center Mall of the Emirates, and is the only ski resort in the United Arab Emirates.

It covers an area of 22500 square meters on a difference in level of 60 m, and consists of 5 different slopes (the longest of 400 m), covered with snow guns; has different slopes and difficulties, served by a chairlift. There is a snow park, a toboggan run, an Alpine-style retreat, a small ski and snowboard school.
Winter clothing, skis and snowboard equipment are included in the ticket price.
Open from Sunday to Wednesday, from 10:00 to 23:00; Thursday and Friday, from 10:00 to 22:00; Saturday, from 09:00 to 23:00.

To end with a flourish, we recommend one cruise with dinner, on the Khor Dubai, on board a traditional Bedouin boat. You will sail for around 2 hours, enjoying entertainment activities, including live music performances, tanoura dances and more. In addition, a welcome drink and an international buffet dinner with barbecue await you.

An advice? At least once, let yourself be transported by Abras, features wooden boats. This vehicle is a sort of mini-cruise at a bargain price. The cost, in fact, is just 1AED per person, to be paid directly to the driver. Also for this reason, many inhabitants use these boats to move around Dubai along the Creek.

Traveling with your family, you will have plenty of options to spend leisure time during your holidays in Dubai. Starting from the splendid Motiongate Dubai, located at Dubai Park and Resorts, near Palm Jebel Ali, off the Sheikh Zayed Road. It is an extraordinary one cinematic experience, Hollywood theme. You’ll find lots of entertainment, from family attractions, to exclusive children’s games: adrenaline roller coasters, motion simulators, water rides, and live shows.
