Charleroi Bruxelles Sud is an international airport, located in Gosselies, in the city of Charleroi, about 45 kilometers south of the capital of Belgium. According to the national airport for passenger traffic, Charleroi-Bruxelles Sud has become, over the years, the base of the Low-Cost companies.

From the airport there are two possibilities: the shuttle, or the combined bus + train route. If your destination is Bruges, Brussels, Gent, Lille, Luxembourg, Metz or Nancy, the shuttle is the best solution. Otherwise, the combined Bus + Train solution is preferable.
SHUTTLE
Brussels City Shuttle is the easiest and fastest way to reach Brussels. The times of the shuttles are in reference to those of the flights, starting from 03:30 in the morning until late evening. Departures every 30 minutes. Tickets cost €14.70 per adult, one way. All the info is available on the official website from this link.

The shuttles depart and arrive a few steps from the entrance to terminal 1. A really comfortable, efficient and economical service: prices starting from only € 5.00 per adult, depending on the route.
There are 9 daily connections to Bruges and Ghent. Direct connections to Lille. Departures for Luxembourg and Metz, via Bastogne, Arlon or Thionville. BUS + TRAIN
We recommend the combined bus / train solution, if your destination could not be reached by the convenient shuttle.
