HOW TO GET

PLANE

Practical and convenient, the plane is the ideal vehicle to reach the Iberian city, from medium to long distance destinations.
The Jerez La Parra international airport is located about 40 km from Cadiz. Every year, more than one million passengers pass through it, mainly from Spain, the United Kingdom and Germany.
By bus, taxi, or renting a car at the airport, you can reach the destination in less than an hour. By train, connections in 45 minutes, with tickets at €6.25 per adult.

Another option is to land, instead, at the international airport of Seville, about 130 km away. This is an important Spanish airport, well connected, with direct flights, with many European and non-European destinations.
With the ALVIA and MD trains, you can get to Cadiz in about 90 minutes, from the Sevilla-Santa Justa station. The Train Distancia train ticket costs 16.65€ per adult.

GET IN CADIZ BY TRAIN

La Estación de Cádiz is the central train station, serving the city of Cadiz. It is located in Plaza de Sevilla, not far from the center.
The train is a good solution coming from Iberian destinations.
The station, in fact, is served by the MD (Media Distancia) and long-distance trains to Seville, Cordoba, Ciudad Real.
There are also IC connections to the capital. The ALVIA train connects the city with Madrid in just 4 hours, passing through Jerez de la Frontera, Puerto Santa Maria and San Fernando-Bahia Sur.

The station is also the terminus of the Cercanías Cádiz network, with stops in San Fernando, Puerto Real, El Puerto de Santa María and Jerez de la Frontera.

CAR

The Spanish city is well connected, with Spain, by an efficient system of road and motorway infrastructures.
Reaching Cadiz by car is a good solution. Especially if you have planned a trip on the road in Andalusia.
From Malaga, for example, you can take the coastal road that crosses the beautiful seaside resorts, such as Marbella. A journey of around 230km.
From Seville, most of the 130 kilometers away are viable on the motorway network. Further north, the capital is instead 650 km. The journey, also in this case, takes place mainly on the motorway.
Over the border, considering the excessive distances, it is difficult to imagine a trip by car to reach the Spanish city.
