Berlin Brandenburg Airport is, since 2020, the only airport serving the German capital. It replaced the old Tegel airport, incorporating the Schonefeld airport in Brandenburg into Terminal 5.
It officially became operational in October 2020, serving an area of about 6 million inhabitants.
It is located just under 20 km from Berlin and with over 30 million passengers, it is one of the busiest in the country and in all of Europe.
TERMINAL
Currently, Berlin Brandenburg Airport consists of 3 Terminals. T1 is the main one, served by the main world airlines. The main flights (Lufthansa, Air France, BA, Qatar Airways…) are directed to this Terminal.
