The building that houses the market is really beautiful, cared for and above all extremely clean. It is the ideal place to shop or stop for lunch. In addition to the typical stands where you can buy fresh fruit, spices, meats, cheeses, traditional desserts, you will find numerous restaurants and eateries, ideal for a break, for a drink and relax. Given the closing times, you could also stop for dinner.

HOW TO GET
The Market is located in the city center, at Ds. Jan Scharpstraat 298, and is easily accessible by all public transport. By train and metro (lines A, B, C), just get off at the Blaak stop. Just a few minutes on foot, to get to your destination. Alternatively, you can use the 32 Bus for Overschie and Station Zuid, or the 47 Bus for Noordereiland and Station Blaak. Tramlines 21 (Woudhoek) and 24 (Holy and De Esch) stop at Blaak
MARKTHAL OPENING HOURS
The Market is open every day from Monday to Sunday, including national holidays and days. Unless otherwise indicated, the stands in the market are open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 20:00; Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00. Every Friday, postponed to 21:00.
Albert Heijn is open from Monday to Saturday, from 08:00 to 21:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 21:00. The times of the restaurants inside the building are variable according to the exercise. CLOSED the 01 January.
TO TRY
Smoked salmon, Dutch meatballs and chicken satay, well marinated, freshly toasted and topped with a delicious sauce with dried onions! Served with atjar and fresh baguette.
